VOLUNTEER IN ISRAEL
December 23, 2025 - January 1, 2026

volunteer for Israel. in israel
It's a new day in Israel, and our work to rebuild and renew is just getting started. This winter, join Trybal Gatherings and Birthright Israel on a journey of connection and purpose. As the nation looks toward brighter days with optimism and hope, this is your moment to show up, lend a hand, and rebuild alongside the people of Israel. Roll up your sleeves for hands-on volunteer work that uplifts communities and restores normalcy. From helping farmers harvest their fields, to renewing farms on kibbutzim impacted in the north, to packing food and essentials for families finding their footing again, you’ll make an impact and strengthen the heart of Israel during an historic time.
This Birthright Israel Volunteer program is funded by Birthright Israel for travelers ages 26-50 – regardless of prior Israel program experience. This track is organized by Israel Outdoors in partnership with Trybal Gatherings. Connect with Trybal alumni from around North America, Israeli friends, and the land of Israel while making a difference. New friends are welcome to join. Apply early, spots are filled on a rolling basis!
This winter, we are offering two optional flights departing from Los Angeles and New York that will feed into the same program, but anyone globally is welcome to join.

VOLUNTEERING
This experience is for can-do travelers seeking the opportunity to volunteer, connect, and renew together. You'll give of yourself 4-7 hours a day in areas where assistance is most needed.
LOGISTICAL CENTERS
Every set of hands makes a difference. Come work alongside leading NGOs to provide humanitarian assistance for displaced communities, security services, and civil and military personnel. You’ll help sort, package, and distribute goods where they are most needed, demonstrating mutual responsibility and care for one another.
Example Partners | Pitchon Lev, Latet
AGRICULTURE
After October 7, many farm workers were called up for army service, foreign workers returned to their home countries, and farms were destroyed in the war. Israel needs volunteers to take part in food rescue operations to prevent shortages in the Israeli market and renew farms across impacted areas in the north.
From picking strawberries and oranges to harvesting greens, you’ll assist farmers tending to and harvesting crops so they don’t go to waste and can be donated to those who are in need.
Example Partners | Hashomer Hachadash, Leket
Please note: All volunteer options are subject to change due to changing civil, social & security needs, regulations, and restrictions. Additional volunteer opportunities may available as the situation evolves.

traveling safely
Our trusted partners at Israel Outdoors have extensive experience leading tens of thousands of people in Israel for over 20 years. While these are difficult days in Israel, this organized volunteering initiative will proceed only if we are confident in being able to provide a safe and meaningful travel experience. Rest assured that we provide 24/7 staff supervision, all of our accommodations are equipped with "safe rooms", and we travel together as a group for organized programming.
Given the hands-on nature of the experience, capacity is limited and spots are available first-come first-serve. Registration ends when the trip is filled or on October 19, whichever comes first.
