Get back to your roots at summer camp for adults

In the Peach State, the people are as warm as the weather and Southern hospitality greets you at the camp gate. Hosted just outside Atlanta at the Marcus JCC’s Camp Isadore Alterman, you’ll enjoy the classic camp experience alongside a brand new aquatics center with an in-pool sundeck, a state-of-the-art pickleball stadium, a serene lake, and so much more. We'll fuel up in the morning with a Waffle House breakfast and mimosa bar before diving into a choose-your-own adventure experience. Zipline across the lake, scale the aerial adventure course, drive a bumper boat, leave it all out on the pickleball courts, or indulge your artistic side with tie-dye, spin art, acroyoga, improv, and so much more. With dozens of electives, color war, and even a pool party, there are endless ways to explore, relax, and connect with new friends. Atlanta Day Camp is the perfect mini escape to connect with new friends right in your own backyard.

You’ll get to customize the day by choosing from dozens of classic and out-of-the-box camp activities. While we encourage you to try something new, you're in charge of your own schedule. Embrace activities that make you forget to check your phone. No matter what you choose, there is surprise and delight layered into each part of the day. GLOSSARY

BREAKFAST BAR

Breakfast: meet bar. Scattered, covered, smothered, chunked. Enjoy some breakfast nosh, our signature mimosa bar, and of course, coffeeee for days. Don't forget to pick up your swag bag of goodies.

OPENING CEREMONY

We kick off camp with a chance to meet the staff, get down at the silent disco ice breaker, and get to know your bunkmates (aka future besties) for the day!

COLOR WAR

Four teams. One champion. Team assignments will be sent in advance so you can arrive prepared to rack up those spirit points on the courts, in the gaga pit, and in the all-camp relay race.

BUBBE'S BEER GARDEN

Relax at the ever-present chill zone at camp. Kickback between activities on a lawn chair, make friendship bracelets with a friend, or grab a drink from the booze canoe and get to know a new friend. Activities are optional, and you're welcome to hang at Bubbe's any time you want.

POOL PARTY & HAPPY HOUR

We close out the day with a pool party complete with a DJ, giant floaties, open bar, snacks, and a chance just lay out in the sun and schmooze. You'll have access to showers and locker rooms to change and shower.

GETTING TO CAMP

The Marcus JCC of Atlanta is located in Dunwoody, GA, about 25 minutes from downtown and 30-45 minutes from Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport. Parking is included with your registration.
