A special day of learning for part-time Jewish educators in Atlanta, brought to you by the Jewish Education Collaborative of JFGA and Trybal Gatherings
When was the last time you left a Zoom LEARNING EXPERIENCE and said “That was zAWESOME”?
ATL Boot Camp is an experiential training designed to provide Atlanta’s supplemental Jewish educators with virtual facilitation skills and inspiration to keep educational programming strong. Jewish supplemental education will only be as good as the educators who facilitate it. In today’s virtual world, an engaging and compelling Jewish education requires that educators be confident in pedagogy and techniques that are relevant, empowering, and based in Jewish values. ATL Boot Camp will ignite educators with new confidence and skills to facilitate meaning-making, to inspire curiosity, and to build a sense of Jewish community within the confines of a screen… and beyond.

Join distinguished leaders from across the field for an experiential, camp-style gathering that trains you to harness critical skills in virtual facilitation and remote experience design. You’ll walk away with inspiration, tools, and modalities that can profoundly engage your community. And, maybe, just maybe… a paper plate award.

Register online by Monday, August 3 at 3:00 pm ET. Spaces are limited. Electives are assigned first-come first-serve.
STEP 3
Receive a confirmation email with your schedule, bunk assignment, packing list, and login link.
STEP 4
Log on at 9:30 am ET on Sunday, Aug. 9 for opening flagpole!

Master the Zoom essentials that will maximize your online programming. We'll walk through the best practices in video and audio settings, key account/admin features, security options, recordings, breakout rooms, and more.

Freshen up your virtual presence! Learn to translate your in-person skills and agenda to the online space. We’ll explore ways to overcome Zoom fatigue, as a facilitator and participant, and how to shift energy in the moment to maximize group connection and engagement.

Build your arsenal of Zoom ice breakers! Learn back-pocket activities to kick off a program, creatively pivot topics, and captivate your students' attention... all while amplifying your community-building goals. This session is the antidote to Zoom fatigue!
